It's taken almost 5 years from our original idea to place the pump internally in the sump to have dry sump kits available off the shelf. While the concept has been replicated by other component suppliers, Raceline hopes the lengthy development, the lessons learned from other kits, and the assistance of one of the best engine designers, has resulted in a market leading dry sump in both cost and performance.
The single pressure, single scavenge internal pump arrangement, eliminates the need for external pumps, pulleys and of course drive belts - the big problem area for more conventional dry sump arrangements. With a 2:1 scavenge ratio, only extreme performance levels will require the need of additional scavenge, which can be accomodated with the introduction of a secondary pump. Adjustable oil presure can be accomodated through the use of a modified front cover.
